Who this pack is for

Refresh the two stages you rely on.

Plan replacement around 6–12 months, depending on water quality and use. Check sooner if taste, odour or flow changes.

Less grit

Sediment catches sand, dirt and rust. Carbon helps reduce chlorine taste and odour.

For everyday drinking water.

Better showers

Carbon helps reduce chlorine and unwanted odour in your shower water.

For fresher water in the shower.

What's in the pack

One sediment cartridge. One carbon block.

The sediment stage handles particles; the carbon stage handles chlorine taste and odour. A straightforward replacement pair for your existing compatible setup.

Measure these two.

Measure the cartridge you're replacing, not its housing.

A filter cartridge with two measurements marked: A, overall length end to end including caps or connectors; B, widest outside diameter.
A Overall length — end to end, including caps or connectors
B Outer diameter — at the widest point of the body

Will it fit?

Standard 10″ × 2.5″ cartridge format.

This pair fits compatible open-sump cartridge housings. It is a different connection family from proprietary quick-fit filters, even where the length looks similar.

Measured it and still not sure?

Send a photo of the cartridge beside a tape measure and we'll tell you which size it is.

Nominal sizes vary a little between makers, so match the measurement rather than the label. What we can't tell you is how ours compares to a cartridge we didn't make and haven't tested, or whether a replacement affects your housing's own warranty; that one is between you and its manufacturer.

What happens, in order

  1. Turn off & release pressureShut off the supply and release pressure through a downstream tap or the relief button, if fitted.
  2. Remove & cleanRemove the old cartridges, wash and rinse the bowls, and inspect the seals. Replace damaged O-rings.
  3. Fit the replacementsSeat the correct cartridges centrally in their housings. Refit the bowls firmly by hand without overtightening.
  4. Flush & checkRestore supply slowly with a downstream tap open. Follow the stated flushing time, then check housings and connections for leaks.

How do I know it will fit?

Check two standard 10″ × 2.5″ open-sump housings and compare cartridge ends and seals. Proprietary quick-fit heads need their own matching replacements.

When should I replace the filters?

Plan around 6–12 months, depending on water quality and use. Check sooner if taste, odour or flow changes. Follow the rating and replacement instructions for your filters.

Do all the filters need changing together?

This pack lets you refresh the supplied set together. Individual stages can load at different rates; follow your system guide when a single cartridge needs earlier attention.

Does this pack also treat scale or PFAS?

It has sediment and CTO carbon stages only. For hardness-related scale, PFAS or dissolved salts, ask HFS about a treatment setup designed for that separate purpose.

Can I change them myself?

Follow your system’s isolation, pressure-release, fitting and flushing instructions. If you cannot isolate it safely or are unsure, arrange help from HFS or a qualified plumber.

What if I order the wrong format?

Contact HFS before fitting or using the pack. Match dimensions, connectors and filtration purpose, and check your housing manufacturer’s warranty terms before using another brand.
